The quaint village of Beckley is located in Southern West Virginia, and is the largest city in Raleigh County, the economic and social hub of the region. For arts and crafts lovers, TAMARACK, West Virginia's largest showcase of handicrafts and culinary flavor, is just minutes away from Beckley. Nature lovers delight in the region's resplendent wildlife and outdoor activities. Nearby Winterplace Ski Resort is a favorite for wintertime adventures and Beckley's Fitzpatrick Park is a popular spring and summertime destination. Lake Stephens Park is also a choice locale for camping and horseback riding along the 300-acre Lake Stephens and throughout the surrounding parkland.
