The Buzz -- The Double Ninth Festival, also known as Chongyang Festival, is a popular Chinese tradition where people drink chrysanthemum wine in remembrance of the superstition that this beverage could drive out evil spirits. This festival is also a day of appreciation for the elderly. Throughout the day they are treated like kings and are encouraged to enjoy themselves.
