6. Jiuhua Shan Kaoya (Jiuhua Shan Roast Duck Restaurant)

XICHENG WEST DISTRICT.   A popular Peking Duck restaurant on Beijing's west side, Jiuhua Shan Kaoya serves up whole ducks, which are roasted until crispy outside and tender inside. The meal is reasonably priced at 88CNY, but you'll want to arrive at early, as this Beijing Chinese restaurant roasts just 200 birds a day and is highly popular among Beijingers (Communist party officials in particular).
