2. Crescent Arts Centre

This is the central venue for arts in Belfast. It runs visual and performing arts workshops, demonstrations and classes. Music workshops include such traditional Irish instruments as the bodhran and uileann pipes. The center is currently located in Ormeau Road while renovations are under way at its permanent home, a former Victorian school which is due to reopen in 2010.   (© 10Best)
