4. Giant's Ring

Located within the Lagan Valley Regional Park, Giant's Ring is an enormous circular earthwork with an impressive 600-foot diameter, enclosed by a manmade grassy bank. A megalithic chamber with a single capstone marks its center. Scientists and scholars date the chamber to between 3000 and 2000 BC, and speculate that the earthwork may have been some type of gathering space.
