Located within the Lagan Valley Regional Park, Giant's Ring is an enormous circular earthwork with an impressive 600-foot diameter, enclosed by a manmade grassy bank. A megalithic chamber with a single capstone marks its center. Scientists and scholars date the chamber to between 3000 and 2000 BC, and speculate that the earthwork may have been some type of gathering space. During the 18th century it was used a horse track.   (© 10Best)
