Belfast's only Michelin-starred restaurant, Deanes is a sleek, sophisticated and modern city-center venue. Popular with everyone from celebrities to foodies, the changing menu includes a fusion of Irish and international cuisine. Expect dishes such as smoked eel, aged loin of Fermanagh beef and risotto of English asparagus for lunch. The dinner menu offers more choice from pan-fried sweetbreads and wood pidgeon to saddle of rabbit or Jerusalem artichoke with chervil dumplings. The Minister of Food Michelin Star my arse!!!!!!!! I have never seen a more poorly selected piece of lamb, then cooked from rare to well done. The French would be insulted at this Michelin Star, as an average village restaurant in France would turn out a dish of the day some 20 time better at 20 times less money.... Totally disappointing and will pass this on to everyone I know who might visit Belfast.....try somewhere else.....you will enjoy that much more! It doesn't deserve the 1 star!!! The Foodie
