1. Commonwealth Day

The Buzz -- Along with other member countries of the British Commonwealth, Belizeans celebrate the Queen's birthday each year in May. In Belize City, this means a public holiday, horse races in the National Stadium, and a bicycle race between Cayo and Belmopan.
