9. Riverside Tavern

Opened in May 2006 by Dustin Bowen (of the famous Belizean Bowen beverage dynasty), Riverside rose straight to the top of Belize City's nightlife and dining scene and stayed there. Very convivial sports pub atmosphere and a popular meeting place for Belize's who's-who crowd. Located on a beautiful spot overlooking the river, complete with an outdoor patio, proper bar, the national (and family) beer on tap, high-backed booths, and excellent service, Riverside serves everything from pub snacks to classy American/Caribbean cuisine.   (© 10Best)

This restaurant has consistantly the best food in Belize. My family travels to Belize quite often and we always look forward to dining there. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The food is never dissapointing. Burgers are good, but I like the fresh fish. Nice relaxing atmosphere, and a great place to meet locals. Manager/Owner Dustin Bowen is very attentive to customers.
