5. Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park

The Buzz -- Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, a bag of popcorn and some soda and head to the park to enjoy free outdoor movies this summer. Films will be shown under the stars on a 25-foot screen. An eight-week series begins July 7, every Tuesday in Downtown Park before moving to Eastgate Park ball field on August 11. Movies are family-friendly and carry a PG rating. While taking in a free flick you can also support a great cause. Each movie night is themed with a different charity benefit. Please bring donated items to support the organization of the night.
