6. Fløyen Restaurant

The funicular tram up to the peak of Mount Floyen offers superb views of the city, and this casual restaurant at the summit affords the best view of all. Authentic Norwegian fare is the specialty, made from the freshest local produce, fish, and meat. An added plus is the terrace seating offered by the cafeteria, which highlights the fact that the elegant 1925 building is surrounded by lush Bergen Park. A must for both the cuisine and the scenery.
