CHARLOTTENBURG - WILMERSDORF. This landmark commemorates Germany's infamous Crystal Night. On November 9, 1938, this Berlin synagogue was burned to the ground in an act of Nazi aggression towards the Jews. The present site retains the original entrance and continues to hold weekly religious services.
