CHARLOTTENBURG – WILMERSDORF. This 1895 neo-Romanesque church sustained heavy damage during World War II. Its remains, including the bombed shell of the tower, were incorporated into a striking contemporary complex that today serves as a war memorial. A truly fascinating specimen of architectural fusion. Make sure you go inside and check out the thousands of panes of stained glass.
