7. Fort St. Catherine

ST GEORGE'S PARISH.   If you only have time to visit one fortification on the island, make it Fort St. Catherine. The island's largest fort, it has been expanded numerous times from 1614 into the 19th century. Housed within its walls are a wealth of historical displays and military artifacts, including replicas of the Crown Jewels. Be sure to allow at least an hour for your visit, although you could spend half the day wandering the tunnels, exploring the vistas and perusing the displays at this site.   (© 10Best)
