9. St. David's Island

ST GEORGE'S PARISH.   This area of Bermuda is the best place to experience the island's colorful seafaring history. Many of the locals never even venture over to St. George's, preferring instead to live off the land and sea. Their independence is a fierce tribute to Bermuda's early settlers. St. David's Lighthouse, built in 1879, is located here as well.   (© 10Best)
