The French ship L'Hermanie had left port in Cuba only 17 days before it sank in 1838. The frigate now lies in 20 to 30 feet of water off the west side of the island. Twenty-five of the ship's 60 guns are still visible. (© 10Best) More Details for L'Hermanie
