3. Frog & Onion Pub

SANDYS PARISH.   This English-style pub is located in a renovated naval cooperage (where casks and barrels were made), and the exposed stone walls, old barrels and antique forge are still part of the decoration. Many fine brews are on tap – try a Watneys, Newcastle or Guinness – but be sure to sample the superb pub food as well. For lunch try the steak and mussel pie, bangers and mash, or a fresh salad.
