9. Waterlot Inn

The restaurant and personnel were excellent. The food and its presentation was also varied and very good. The only negative comment is the extensive wine list was overpriced in comparison to other restaurants of this caliber.

While we did not stay at the Fairmont hotel in Bermuda, it was highly recommended we dine at the Waterlot just to hear your pianist, Michael Fox. He certainly makes the meal all the more worthwhile. We were surprised to hear such a wide variety of music from pop to standards, and all played with an incredible style, using a synthesizer to enhance his already capable talents. In fact, while we were waiting in the upstairs lounge to be seated, my friend and I were having trouble trying to figure out if the music was live or recorded - he sounds that good! He is your BEST ASSET at Waterlot because he seems to please a variety of discerning guests - we would definitely be back to Bermuda, and rest assured will dine there again just to hear him. We found him to be personable and charming to talk to during his break. We asked about buying a CD but he said he was not permitted to sell them, as per his contract, so HE GAVE US ONE!!! WOW!!! What a delight, because it features some of our favorite songs from movies and broadway, and all performed in his incredible style. He is certainly the creme de la creme of pianists/entertainers I have seen in a long time.
