SANDYS PARISH.   Bermuda's vacation cottage colonies are unique to the island. The award-winning Tamarisk is located at the Cambridge Beaches colony, and it's a destination in and of itself. Widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in Bermuda, it's an elegant retreat that's popular for romantic tête-à-tête's. The menu features plenty of seafood, fresh local vegetables and herbs grown on the property. You might start with watermelon salad with goat cheese, asparagus and pumpkin seeds, or black grouper carpaccio. Main course options have included tandoori-marinated rack of lamb, grilled Bermudian snapper, and veal ravioli with wild mushroom sauce. Desserts are fantastic!   (© 10Best)
