3. Kahalu'u Beach Park

KONA COAST.   If you're interested in some of the best snorkeling on the Hawaiian coast, then travel out to the Kahalu'u Big Island beach. This cove was developed from the seawall that King Kamehameha ordered his workers to build in order to create a safe place for his family to swim.
