HAMAKUA COAST.   If unforgettable sights are what you're looking for, then make your destination this Big Island park. Two waterfalls are tucked into the trails, the first being Kahuna Falls, a 100 foot cascade surrounded by bamboo, heleconia and ginger. Keep on trekking a little while longer to the 420 foot 'Akaka Falls for some of the most fantastic Big Island scenery you'll find.
