2. Banyan Drive

HILO.   If you're searching for the most famous Big Island attractions, then take a walk (or a drive) down the Hilo "Walk of Fame.” The cage-like banyan trees lining the street of this Waiakea Peninsula road have all been planted by A-list celebrities and political figures like Amelia Earhart, Babe Ruth and even Franklin D. Roosevelt. Although tsunamis and other natural disasters have swept through the island, most these trees have withstood it all, providing a shady canopy over this free Big Island attraction.   (© 10Best)
