This scenic trail traces Billings's majestic sandstone landscape, encompassing numerous historic areas, such as the Yellowstone River valley and the monolithic Rimrocks. The trail is named for the Crow Indian chief buried here.

This park provides a nice collection of Crow Indian artifacts in a museum and the property was once the home of Chief Plenty Coups. The chief eventually became the representative of the Indian nations at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier ceremony.

With over 60 acres, this popular reservoir is a favorite water sports spot. The park is great for biking, hiking, fishing, and sailing. Lake Elmo is located north of Billings and also has great bird watching opportunities.

June 25, 1876 is the date General Custer fell. The U.S. Army Seventh Cavalry was pitted against the forces of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Lakota Sioux Indian and this is the site of the historical event. The park has displays of artifacts and a museum.
