The former residence of one of the state's most philanthropic families, this exquisite home showcases an extensive collection of European antiques, art, and silver. All tours are guided and are given on a first-come basis. The last tour is taken at 4pm. Groups are welcome during normal hours.

June 25, 1876 is the date General Custer fell. The U.S. Army Seventh Cavalry was pitted against the forces of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Lakota Sioux Indian and this is the site of the historical event. The park has displays of artifacts and a museum.

This charming 1903 sandstone mansion is the former residence of the Preston Boyd Moss family. It is now a fascinating museum devoted to turn-of-the-century life. The mansion features original furnishings, period clothing, and numerous artifacts. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hour-long tour is most insightful.

Over 4000 years ago prehistoric hunters left their mark in this region. This state park, along with the pictographs it houses, documents life before white settlers and Native American Indians moved into Montana. Located about 13 miles from Billings, the park showcases cliffs, caves, and the preserved drawings of hunters who once roamed the Great Plains.

Among Billings's signature landmarks, these incredible sandstone formations overlook the valley area that so defines the city. A popular site for rock climbing and rappelling, the Rims offer a stunning view of the area. Nearby parks offer trails for hiking and mountain biking. As a precaution, be on the lookout for snakes during warm weather.
