BILOXI. This is the grand dame of the Biloxi casinos; step inside and you'll see why. From the opulent skylit lobby to the ornate wrought iron railings, stained glass windows and luxe floral fabrics, every room at the Beau Rivage emits a feeling of luxury. Great restaurants, all run by a renowned local chef; several fabulous shops, including DKNY; and, of course, plenty of gaming make this destination number one for those seeking a hedonistic good time. Enjoy a full-service spa and salon, a 1,500-seat auditorium that attracts shows like the "Cirque du Soleil," a marina, a fabulous pool and cabana, huge meeting space, the glittering 73,000-square-foot casino, and plenty of luxurious rooms and suites.

BILOXI. This casino appeals to a broad demographic with its comfortable, old Western theme. The exterior is designed to look like a Western town, with restaurants, a coffee shop, an arcade to keep the kids occupied, and plenty of shows to stir things up in the evening. Though dining, shopping and entertainment are available, most people come here to do one thing – gamble. With 1,100 slot machines and 27 table games, there is a game to attract players of all interests and budgets, from newcomers to old pros.

BILOXI. Game-lovers will find more than 2,000 slots and almost 100 table games, making this one of the largest casinos in the area. The Grand Theatre is known for its great shows, and it recently presented a sold-out Elvis tribute. Kids love the Grand Arcade, which includes interactive games and a massive jungle gym.

BILOXI. This huge 32-story hotel and casino is located on Biloxi's Back Bay, making it a slightly quieter option – outside that is. Inside the casino, the air is full of flashing lights, music, buzzing slot machines and exciting table games located on 3 floors and covering 70,000 square feet. Most people come here to gamble, but even if you don't, there are plenty of other options. Enjoy the rooftop pool and cabana, make an appointment for a massage or facial in the full-service spa, or see a show at the comedy club or concert venue. Car buffs will enjoy the displays of classic cars scattered throughout the facility. The hotel offers more than 1,000 rooms, all with dataport, spacious bath, and in-room movies. Seven restaurants, a gym and a shopping arcade round out the extensive offerings.

GULFPORT. Stay right in the thick of the action at this pleasant, modern hotel. A top destination for dining, gambling and entertainment, this hotel offers 560 luxurious rooms and suites with updated amenities such as pillow top mattresses and flat screen LCD TVs. Among the three dining options that are sure to please your palate is Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House. After dinner enjoy live music and drinks at the The View bar. The casino offers 83,000 square feet of gaming space and includes a poker room that features free poker lessons, tournaments and table-side food service.

BILOXI. The tropical theme is immediately evident at this popular casino that offers several excellent waterside views. The whole place moves to a Calypso beat, including the extensive Calypso buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Tradewinds Grill. For finer dining, head upstairs to popular Farraday's for great steaks and chops. The vast gaming area features more than 1,100 slots and 42 table games, so there are always plenty of games to join.

BILOXI. The Palace has been around for a while and is a favorite stop for locals seeking an evening of excitement. Tourists enjoy it as well, and the recent addition of the 11-story Casino Resort Hotel has made it even more popular among business and leisure travelers. The three-level gaming area offers everything gamblers could want, including 700 slot machines and 30 table games. Live Vegas-style entertainment, the 500-seat Palladium Theater, and dining options like the 24-hour buffet and a fine dining restaurant, offer plenty to see and do. The adjacent resort includes spacious rooms, two outdoor pools, a nice stretch of beach, and extensive convention and meeting space.

BILOXI. As you approach Treasure Bay, you'll think you stepped back in time to the days of pirates and buried treasure. This sprawling, eye-catching casino looks like an 18th-century pirate ship docked on the edge of the water – though it never leaves the shore. The massive ship, complete with towering masts and sails, holds 1,130 slots, more than 50 table games and a four-star poker room set aside for the high rollers. Scalawag's Showbar and Brewpub is known for its great microbrews and its high-profile musical shows; several other restaurants offer everything from snacks to fine dining. The attached hotel has a tropical swimming pool, a sports bar, lots of meeting space and well-equipped rooms and suites.
