Grand Buffet

BILOXI. This casual, all-you-can-eat seafood buffet is a cut above the rest, with raw and hot seafood bars and a separate dessert station. Some diners never make it to the hot seafood bar because of the cold seafood and appetizer offerings: fresh boiled shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs, Gulf blue crabs, stone crab claws, sushi, oysters Rockefeller and Bienville and steamed clams and mussels. On the hot bar, several fish, crab and shrimp entrées await. Chef David Crabtree makes great-tasting flounder rolls stuffed with spinach, and the crab cakes are filled with plenty of crab and not too much breading. Desserts range from tortes, pies and bread pudding to no-sugar-added offerings for diabetics. Mixed drinks, wine and beer are available but aren't included in the buffet price.
