 EDITOR REVIEW: DOWNTOWN. The museum boasts an excellent permanent collection of over 16,000 works, including impressive works from the Kress Collection of Renaissance paintings. You'll find many examples of English decorative art and French and Eastern art. The multilevel sculpture garden features contemporary works. The museum is constantly changing exhibitions, so call ahead for current showings.
