HOMEWOOD.
Located in Homewood's SoHo development, this attractive eatery mixes traditional European with more global creations like crab rangoons. Casual and unpretentious, Jackson's has the eclectic quality found in the best big city neighborhood gathering spots, making it popular with Homewood's young and trendy set. Stop by yourself for a few drinks, a bite of wood-fired pizza, and friendly conversation.

Love this place
From the relaxed and fun atmosphere...to the eclectic staff and diverse menu offerings...this place is a home run. Everything on the menu is very resonably priced and just about everyone can find something on the menu they can really enjoy. I frequent this restaurant and consistantly see other "regulars" when I am there. Service is good and fun; cocktails and wine list are broad. It is a bit loud inside; however, I think that is somewhat intended as to make us feel like we are part of the actdion.

Jackson's has an interesting menu, but none of the food is outstanding. In every recipe, it seems that there is just something a little, should we say, "off" or missing from the meal. The atmosphere is really what you go for. Sit outside and enjoy a beer or glass of wine and you can people watch in SoHo. On Sundays, half price wine is what attracts me. Overall, the experience is great, but the food is not.
