5. Safari Cup

DOWNTOWN.   This groovy downtown shop / art gallery specializes in dispensing piping hot cups of brew made from fresh African beans. In addition to coffee beverages, Safari also serves up an array of delightful foodstuffs, including fresh pastries and baked goodies for breakfast or dessert, and creative sandwiches and salads (the Lion's Feast salad features honey-curried chicken, red peppers and portabella mushrooms served over a spring mix). As for events, in the evenings it's not uncommon for Safari to have live music or a film screening, and for-sale sculpture and ceramics are always on display.   (© 10Best)
