LAKEVIEW DISTRICT.   Located in the old Martin Biscuit Building (now part of the Pepper Place development), this neat little trattoria is one of the best places Birmingham has to offer when it comes to pizza. What sets Bettola's pie apart from the pack? Their pies are made Neapolitan-style – thin, wood-fired wheat crusts, San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil – and that makes all the difference in the world. Authentic Italian Pizza and Wines Great Atmosphere and true margherita pizza prepared and baked in a wood fired oven behind the bar. The owner has done an outstanding job bringing real Italian pizza and wines to Birmingham. Grazie infinite!!
