Simply the finest. Outstanding quality. Everyday the menu is changed accordingly with the fresh ingredients available 'on the market.' A must for every Birminghamian as well as for everyone who visits the Magic City. Owner Frank Stitts's Highlands Bar and Grill has been named #5 in the list of the top 50 American Restaurants by Gourmet Magazine in October 2001, and since then Stitts has managed to get even better in my (humble) opinion!

Voted Best Restaurant, Best Chef, and the recipient of The Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence in 2004, Ocean offers fresh seafood in an exciting and contemporary atmosphere. The menu features fresh oysters and fish from around the world. Locally owned and operated by George and Harriet Reis.

A quaint neighborhood coffee shop cafe. Recognized for award winning espresso they have the smoothest lattes in town. They also serve great lunches that include soups, paninis, and signature sandwiches from the owner's southern family recipes. The Roast Beef Salad sandwich is not to be missed!!
