4. Royal Birmingham Society of Artists

Established in 1821, this is among Britain's oldest art societies and is considered a bastion for the promotion of art appreciation. The gallery includes educational and training facilities and hosts frequent exhibitions and workshops. Superb collection of crafts, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, textiles, sculpture and prints.
