This 1765 mill was built on the historic site of an earlier 16th-century mill and was used to grind corn prior to the industrial revolution. It later became the site of welding facilities. This historic locale was used as the setting for author J.R.R. Tolkien's famous "The Hobbit." Offers visitors an interesting look at the changing face of industry through the centuries.   (© 10Best)
