5. Lickey Hills Country Park

Lying southwest of Birmingham, this combination of woods and marshes covers more than 500 acres. Home to a diverse collection of wildlife, it also allows room for tennis courts, a golf course, playground, and a handicapped-accessible trail. The visitor's center distributes useful information about the area. A café and public restrooms are available, as well.   (© 10Best)
