MOUNTAIN BROOK. Cakes, cookies and tarts temp the taste bubs at this Crestline Village confectionary. Baker-extraordinaire Janet Allen is responsible for some of the state's best – and often inventive – sweets, from cigar-shaped chocolates to an amazing caramel cake. Oh, and if you aren't in Birminghamm, don't fret ... they ship.

ENGLISH VILLAGE. A bit of romantic Europe in the middle of Alabama! Chez LuLu serves sinful dessert selections like crustless cheesecake, bread pudding du jour and seasonal pies. The decor pairs mismatched tables and place settings with some very interesting artwork. You'll also find for sampling gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. Lulu's serves a terrific Sunday brunch as well.
Coffee fiend? Sweet tooth? You’re in the right spot — our selections serve rich roast coffees and gourmet desserts. Expect to find specialty shops as well as traditional restaurants with an expert pastry chef. Take the time to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can linger and enjoy music, conversation, or a good book.
