Good neighborhood place to grab a quick bite. They have done a good job with their strip mall space.
We were there on a Tuesday night and were surprised at the noise level. The place was packed! Food was good to very good, exception was the dinner salad. Iceberg lettuce??? Don't serve that stuff. There are a lot of good greens in season right now. It was a pleasure to order a Summer Shandy without getting a blank look from the wait staff.

hey sucked, i waited 45 min for a beer and they were out of the 1st 3 i aksed for and i didnt get asked for 22 min into it for the 1st one, and then never got asked if i wanted to eat, only got the one beer, never came back to ask if i wanted another, was there for an hour and a half. my rating of the restraunt is thumbs down on service and i counted they had 7 tables of 2 tops and and 5 tables of 4 to 6 people with 5 servers so 12 tables plus me and my friend. bad service

I tried out The Walrus after I discovered that it was under new ownership & management. I was not disappointed! I eat at the restaurant or to-go about 3 times a week. Yes, it is that good.
The Walrus is known for its huge food & drink menus, heavy on italian pastas & pizzas. Most everything is still on it, though there has been some tweaking with the new chef, Kristin Sande. Check out their specials for new choices & healthy fare. Some of my favorites have been chana masala, a roasted veggie sandwich, the tuscan salad for two...just to name a few. Last night I had Lo-mein which was absolutely scrumptious.
They still make house-made soups & I hear that they are making their own house-made meatballs. I'll let someone else try the meatballs out, as I am vegetarian :-)
I would recommend this restaurant to everyone to give a try. Honestly, the menu has something on it FOR everyone. Smaller parties though. If your group is over 10 people, you might want to look elsewhere.
