NORMAL.   Don't be fooled by the sparse decorations in this local coffee house – the exotic coffee selection is impressive. Supplied with great equipment for making lattes and espressos, the restaurant also houses a bakery, where pastries, cookies, cakes and other delights are prepared. For a "real" breakfast, one might order two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and two slices of toast ; or opt for a vegetarian sausage patty along with oatmeal-buttermilk buckwheat pancakes. Although my time in Bloomington/Normal was brief, I quickly found The Coffeehouse and made a point to go in every day those three days (sometimes more than once :) ). The food was fantastic, as well as the service. The prices are also within a college student's budget. I am still drawn to this place.
