Dotted with sugar maples and fruit trees, the Clover Lawn estate is a treat for the eyes. Four original buildings dating from the 1800s still stand on this once-working farm, including a carriage barn (1868), foaling shed (1872), stable (1856), and the woodhouse (1872), designed by Piquenard, which housed the privies used by farmhands. Colorful gardens and ornamental plantings show their beauty here, especially during the spring and summer months.
