2. Fabulous 4th

The Buzz -- Celebrate Independence in true style by attending this awesome – some might say "explosive" – fireworks spectacular. Held on the campus of Florida Atlantic University, the festivities usually kick off around 6pm or so with a carnival-style event featuring food, games and a free concert. Of course, the star of the evening is the pyrotechnics show, which starts at 9pm and can be seen from just about anywhere in Boca Raton. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome; pets, grills and alcoholic beverages are not. Parking is available in lots 4, 6, 8, 9, and 11 along Lee Street.
