2. Porte Cailhau (Cailhau Gate)

Built in 1495, this gate features a striking arch dedicated to Charles the XVIII's triumph at Fornoue. It is one of two city gates that was unharmed by Tourny's attack in the 18th century. From atop this impressive structure, you'll enjoy a most remarkable view of the Garonne River and the surrounding St. Michel area. Tours limited to 19 people.   (© 10Best)
