The son of a fisherman and a chef trained at the Cordon Bleu, the owner of this popular restaurant has the ideal lineage to run a seafood-oriented restaurant. And it shows! Known as one of the most romantic spots in Bordeaux, Chez Philippe takes fish dishes to another level. Try bream papillote with saffron, wrapped in a delicate flaky crust, or moist and sweet bass with grapes. The plates of grilled seafood vary depending on the catches of the day, but they are consistently prepared to the highest of standards and presented with style.
