7. La Boite a Huitres

The seafood in Bordeaux is well known, with the freshest ingredients gathered from the nearby Arcachon Bay. This restaurant is a prime example and specializes in oysters. You can even choose oysters gathered from various areas or bodies of water! The nautical theme is appropriate but not overdone, and the inexpensive set menu includes (in addition to oysters, of course) a fine pate, a rich dessert, and a glass of wine.
