2. Amarine

While many French restaurants take their time, Amarine is known for its surprisingly quick service – even more of a shock considering the quality of the food. Fried seafood dishes are popular among people stopping in from a day of shopping or sightseeing. It is also near the airport, so this large, clean restaurant is often the site of the first or last meal for Bordeaux visitors.
