2. El Gaudi

El Gaudi is colorful and quirky, like the architecture of the Spaniard for which the restaurant is named. Mosaics of colored tiles make an exotic backdrop in this upbeat dining room, where all of the traditional Spanish dishes are offered. The tapas selection is particularly popular, with small servings of breads, tortillas, and paella. For a quiet meal, try a weeknight, but for local color and excitement, the best night is Friday.
