The Buzz -- There's never a shortage of stuff to do when you're spending the Fourth of July in one of the nation's most historic cities. Boston Harborfest is a six-day affair celebrating the history of Boston with a series of events unique to the city, such as re-enactments of the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill, along with tours of historic buildings and neighborhoods throughout the city. And, of course, you can't do Harborfest without Chowderfest. True to Boston tradition, this restaurant competition brings in more than 2,000 gallons of chowder for the ultimate taste test of New England's signature dish, complete with awards. |
