The Buzz -- One of the great performers of the 20th century, Yo-Yo Ma, the 15-time Grammy Award-winner, has defined himself as a virtuoso cellist and accomplished musician. Breaking away from his current ties with the Silk Road Ensemble, Yo-Yo Ma headlines a US tour that follows the release of his latest album, Songs of Joy & Peace, featuring seasonal and secular songs focusing on "hopes, dreams and good cheer." Ma performs with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and conductor and harpsichordist Ton Koopman. |

Decorative elements are purposefully minimal so as not to inhibit the transmission of sound. The venue has been host to such luminaries as Marian Anderson, Isadora Duncan, and even Ernest Shackleton, who gave a presentation on his Antarctic expeditions. |
