CHARLESTOWN. The historic building that shelters this tavern is believed to be one of the first structures erected in Charlestown after the British demolished the town during the Battle of Bunker Hill. Named for a seasoned patriot and fighter named General Joseph Warren (who perished at Bunker Hill), the tavern retains an historic decor and Old World feel. Young up-and-comers enjoy the ambiance while kicking back and having a few beers with friends. You'll also find a great menu of above-average pub food.
