6. Bell in Hand Tavern

FINANCIAL DISTRICT.   Bell in Hand is reportedly the oldest tavern in the United States, although the long-lived pub has not always been at this location. In business since 1795, Bell now caters to a young, partying crowd. Live music is offered Tuesday to Saturday nights, and a jukebox provides entertainment when bands aren't in session. The bar's small menu of traditional pub eats is ideal if you arrive hungry.
