CHINATOWN.
Once a theater, the ornate building that houses this beloved Chinese eatery has seen its share of stars over the years. No doubt, Emperor's (or Empire's, depending on to whom you speak) Garden is one of the brightest, thanks to its superb Cantonese dishes. The pre-lunch and Sunday brunch crowds find much to laud about the place's imperial dim sum.

We went to this restaurant due to the description and rating written for it on this site. It is also close to our Hotel, The Double Tree.
The smell of garbage was outside the restaurant and even carried in up stairs into the dining room. The place is def old and needs a deep cleaning. The food was OK to pretty good. I live in NY and know great Chinese. This was not. The server was friendly. However don't look for noodles to be put on table with soup or even rice with your meal. We had to ask for a bowl of plain white rice, it never came with out meal. The Orange Beef had no orange taste. The appetizers were good. The glass with the diet Coke had the taste of bleach.
Also there was a table of about 8 Chinese men, all in suits as we entered the dining room. They were not eating. However they were so loud and it made a pretty bad experience even worse. They should have gotten up and cleaned the windows instead of sitting around like the bosses in the place. We ate there for dinner June 19th... I would never go back...
