Awful Experience
We ended up here only because Grill 23 was full, and boy was it a mistake. The calimara was soggy and tasted like it was cooked in pig fat, and the pasta was highly overcooked. Every female employee in the restaurant (aside from the waitresses) looked like a tramp, including the hostesses and bartenders in particular. Maybe it's a brothel after hours? The manager looked like a perverted homeless man who forgot to shave the last 5 days and his manners were equivalent to that of someone off the street, as he starred at the chests of each female guest in my party. The one plus of this establishment was that the waiters knew the menu well.

On friday august 15, we dined with a party of eight. We were so disappointed. Every dish ,appetizers and entrees ,were so full of pepper that we could not taste our food. One diner had a meat dish, it was not peppery, howerer, they were sick that night. Our mouths were still burning the next day. Was the chef there and if yes, check the seasoning bottles. If not, who's mining the kitchen when he is away?????? We will never dine here again....In fact, one of the patrons belongs to a restaurant group in the boston area. Oh my....

We started with the prosciutto & figs and crunchy eggplant appetizers... both were very good. For main courses, we had spaghetti aglio, olio et pomodoro and taglitelli bolognese... both were excellent... pastas were al dente to perfection. The restaurant was fully booked so we sat in the bar area. Lots going on, in a positive way. A very good dining experience, staff was pleasant and accommodating. It is a bit pricey, though. We had two appetizers, two main courses (both pastas and not meat/fish dishes) with one beer and two soft drinks and the bill, before tip, was over $70. We will return.
