Located in Three Forks, this museum dates back to 1910. The displays depict pioneer life with reconstructed samples of kitchens, schoolrooms, and blacksmith shops. The museum also houses pieces of local history, including the largest brown trout ever caught in the state.

The train was the lifeline to the West, and this museum chronicles its history. The museum is housed in the depot where travelers arrived when visiting Yellowstone. The Livingston Depot Center, architecturally designed to resemble an Italian villa, is still ornate and well maintained. It houses exhibits on railroad history, Western art, and pioneering.

In addition to a great planetarium experience, the Museum of the Rockies' main attractions are the Tyrannosaurus Rex skull and the dinosaur eggs on display. Located on the university campus, the museum chronicles the history of the region and offers terrific displays.
